
John Schroeder is a Director in Critical Path Advisors’ HR and Compliance practice, with more than 30 years of experience advising executive leadership on human capital strategy, organizational risk, and workforce governance.
As Senior Partner for West Coast Operations, John serves as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and closely held enterprises across the United States, Canada, Mexico, South America, the Caribbean, EMEA, APAC, and Australia. He partners with senior leadership to address complex workforce matters, including executive compensation structures, performance management frameworks, global benefits administration, and sensitive employee relations and compliance issues.
John’s background spans the global entertainment, financial services, public accounting, and investment management sectors, where he has guided organizations through growth, change management, and regulatory complexity. His advisory approach focuses on aligning talent strategy with business objectives while mitigating employment-related risk and strengthening organizational resilience.
He holds the SHRM-SCP, SPHR, SPHRi, GPHR, PAFM, and CPSP certifications, a Master’s degree from Emory University Honors Program, a BA with Distinction from Hendrix College, and has completed graduate studies in Labor and Employment Law at Emory University School of Law.
